Help needed for mailscript

I'm trying to create a script that returns the number of messages that a user has in his POP3-box using sockets.

I can connect to the POP3-server, but I don't know it from here... Who has an idea?


$check=imap_check($link);
$number_of_msgs=$check->Nmsgs;

And VIOLA! $number_of_msgs contains the number of messages in the mailbox...

Change $link to whatever your link to the connection is...

Change any of the other vars ($check and $number_of_msgs) to fit your needs as well...
