ok, im trying to put a password thing on my site so people can't get in unless they have the password, I have the sign up and login thing up, but when I make the pages for my members people can just type the address to the page in and get in, is there a way to stop this?

You'll need to check on each page that's supposed to be protected to see if the person requesting it is logged in.

One approach involves setting session variables which can then be checked on subsequent pages (elaborations and bulletproofing to taste).

I'm sure there are articles on this subject on this site.
