ok i have a ftp and have php and mysql installed on it but i dont have mysql and php installed on my computer i want to make a poll but i have to open mysql in windows to create the table andi dont have it on my computer what can i do?
Does your host have phpMyAdmin on it? If so, that is probably your best bet...

There is a box in it that you can type in SQL queries, use it to make a database/table using SQL syntax... see http://www.mysql.com/ for details on the language.
To get started you miught consider installing PHPTriad on your local PC. It is a package containing Apache, PHP, and MySQL. Will make life much easier to develop on your own PC rather than remote host.
