getting information through a href tag

hey all
I have a question:
I have a form, with submit button at the bottom. but you can go to a different form if you wish by clicking on a "a href" link.

The idea is that I have an appication with an offer text box, which gets the information form the previous page. you cant ehn fill in the rest of the form and attach your cv. but of course if the person doesn't have the cv available, I am giving them the option, at the beginning of the page, to click on a link, to take them to another page which a full online application.
but I would like to get the information in the offer box to put on the new page.

If anyone understands, can they help me, please...

anybody please!!! I have been stuck on this for 2 days now!! and it's starting to annoye me.

Imagin that there is something in the Offer applying for box. you click on Here but it won't display the value that is in that box.

Okay this is pretty easy. Make the href= tag have the address of your second page and then just append a question mark and list all the names and values of fields on the form. Then you just need to parse these values out using $_GET[] or $httpvar[] or just using the name and have the value field on the new forms print out that value. In fact it would be alot easier to have a second submit button on the form that takes you to the other form and so you dont have to encode the info from your first site. My HTML is rusty but look this up, it will save you a lot of hassle.
Might be easier to see an example.

//on online.php the input fields can be declared thus

//a non declared value prints nothing so box is blank
//if the user hadn't emptied something on the other page.

well I guess if you spend sometime on the forums, posting little messages, just like having a conversation, then yeah, I guess it mounts up quite quickly!!!
