Wow. There's a surprise. A problem that happens in Netscape and not IE. Funny. At any rate, here's the situation:
The url is http://waddington.unbc.ca/index.php
The links are coded thusly:
<a href="?page=economics">Economics</a>
<a href="?page=politicalscience">Political Science</a>
Now in Explorer, the links work fine, and when I right-click and copy the link location, I get
http://waddington.unbc.ca/index.php?page=economics
but when I do the same in Netscape it's
http://waddington.unbc.ca/?page=economics
which is causing me undue headaches.
Now, my first thought would be that it might have something to do with the order of the DirectoryIndex in Apache's httpd.conf file, which is presently set to the following:
index.html index.php index.htm
but I'm just guessing there. Does anyone have any ideas?
The reason I ask is that the site is driven on a template, and unless the link pointed to is index.php?vars=vals and not ?vars=vals it won't work in Netscape 4x.
Thanks in advance,
Pablo
