Whats wrong with this SQL statement? date_format.

$Sql= "SELECT * FROM CreditApp WHERE date_format(caDate, "%Y-%m-%d") as Date = $Date";

OK here it is broke down. CreditApp is the table...caDate is a field in that table holding a MYSQL Timestamp YYYYMMDDHHMMSS. $Date is formated as YYYY-MM-DD.

I am trying to pull all fields in the DB that match that date. ANy ideas? I'm getting an error somewhere but i dont know where.

Remove this "as Date" and it will probably work.
