Files that start with a "." are considered "hidden" files on a *nix system. By default, WS_FTP does not show these files when you login. You can set WS_FTP to show them.
Click connect, then choose the location you want to log into.
Click the "Startup" tab and you will see a box at the bottom that says "Remote File Mask"
In this box, type "-a" (without the quotes).
Click apply, then Ok
Once you login, you should see all files.
This is the same as doing "ls -a" in a shell, as opposed to doing just a "ls".
