placing images in mySQL using PHPadmin

Sorry to bother you. I am having trouble trying to figure out how to insert images into mySQL database using the PHPadmin interface (sorta like a GUI). Can you help me? Plus, how I can extract the images through php3.

why cause performance slowdowns and DB bloat. better to store string path to image and store image in folder...easier to manager too
