Page not refreshing after header("Location: headerimage.php");

I am deleting items from a database in a "delete.php" page and at the bottom of the page I am returning to the list of items via header("Location: headerimage.php");

My problem is that when I return to the list of items, the item that I deleted still appears on the page (not in the database) until I hit refresh............is there any way to "force" a page refresh or is it a browser setting of some sort....thanks for your help.

Without more details I would say the Browser cache is your main problem. I know in IE you can set it to request the page every time, I am sure there are similar settings in the other browsers as well. Something else you may want to look at is the JavaScript function window.location.reload()
