Php-cli W2k Cron

Trying to get a 5 second file present check script using php-cli on W2K. Having trouble with max-execution-time. Has anyone created a CRON type script using php-cli that runs forever? Should I be concerned about memory leaks & if so, any suggestions on how to prevent them?

A call to set_time_limit using 0 value as the limit should do what you want... lookup the documentation for the function on www.php.net
