upgrade from 4.2.2 to 4.2.3 win2k gotchas?

Are there any? I'm running Apache 2.0.39 and it's running fine with a manual install of PHP 4.2.2 on win2k pro.

I thought I could just unzip the binaries for 4.2.3 and put them in the same places as the 4.2.2 stuff and restart the server and have it all work.

Apache won't start if I do that. reverting is painless, stop the apache server, copy the 4.2.2 dlls in place and restart. Everything seems to work. A complete reboot of the whole system doesn't seem to help.

try unzipping php4.2.3 again and installing... make sure you changed out php4ts.dll and php.ini to the current 4.2.3 ones.

see for aditional help, i managed to install apache 2.0.42 + php4.2.3 nicely...
