Hi everyone,

I have a problem with header.when i using header to call same file,i'm getting error that the header has been send already.But i havn't  use any print or echo before header().

could you able to tell me the restrication should follow before using header.

i.e what are the things should not use while using the header().

You can't have anything before the header(). Nothing...no html no php no nothing.

I got solution,u can have anything before header,but u have to buffer them then flush it.
ob_start();
header(Location : welcome.html");
ob_end_flush();

But it doesnt work for me, i still get the "cant add header info" error message!

Why, is my PHP.ini corrupt or what?

Hi wmasterj,

<?php
   ob_start(); //this is should be the first statement.

header();// between these two.
ob_end_flush(); //this should be the last statement

?>

You should not have any echo,print kind of output statements before header.you should avoid this.
