There is a PHP mail-handler class with a fair bit of capability (including HTML) at www.phpguru.org
If you haven't installed PHP yet, you would of course need to do so before using the class - there's a forum here providing help if you need it. There is also a newbies forum for introductory help and a tutorial in the PHP manual.
I may consider writing something for you from scratch, but I'd be obliged to charge for the service.
Server-side Javascript I don't know anything about - client-side Javascript doesn't do emails.

There's a good tutorial by Julie Meloni at www.thickbook.com.
It's not based on object-oriented PHP so that should be easy for you to understand.
Sorry I had to ignore your "no hyperlinks" message. You have to learn to code it by yourself, or as Weedpacket puts it... Do your own work.
