Server not recognizing php script tag

Server not recognizing

and will only accept

<?php

at the start of the script.

This occured after an upgrade from redhat 7.2 to 7.3

Any help?

Changing the tag from <? to <?php fixed my problem !

I am running Redhat 8.0.

Hi,

Set short_open_tag in your php.ini to On and the <? tag will work.
