I just installed mySQL (rpm from Redhat cd) on RH 8.0. When trying to connect from within a php-script I got an error saying that mysql_connect() wasn´t supported. Browsing the net I found out I needed php-mysql-4.2.2.... I got this rpm, but now it says :
Warning: Lost connection to MySQL server during query [path]
I can access mySQL from other programs, so that´s not the problem.
Please help.!
