Uploading problems

I have a form to pass info to an upload script which has stopped working since my host moved their servers:

This now produces an error like so:

Warning: fopen("", "r") - Success in /home/my_domain/data/coaches/admin/do_insert.php on line 107

Warning: stat failed for (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in /home/my_domain/data/coaches/admin/do_insert.php on line 107

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/my_domain/data/coaches/admin/do_insert.php on line 107

NO VARIABLES get passed to the do_insert script.

However, if i remove the - enctype="multipart/form-data" - portion of the form, all variables get passed ok but then I get this error:

Warning: fopen("C:\My Documents\saved web pictures\megane1.jpg", "r") - No such file or directory in /home/my_domain/data/coaches/admin/do_insert.php on line 107

I really am tearing my hair out (whats left of it!)

what is the fopen() line trying to open?

Did the provider change the tmp upload directory perhaps? Maybe your script can't find the file it's looking for because it's in a different place on the new server???

The fopen("", "r") would normally open a file uploaded from a mailform on a previous page. But because the variable (in this case an image file) is not being passed from one page to another then there is nothing for it to open hence the "" and the error message. My host now says that php upload is turned off on my server but as yet have done nothing about it. Any ideas?

If your provider turned off uploads, then you are pretty much hosed I'm thinking.

On a side note, is that the only reason the variable isn't being passed in from the previous page? Or it is a situation where you are passing a variable in the URL and it is not getting picked up on the next page?

The script was working perfectly well before they moved servers but as yet have refused to admit a problem. Thanks for all the help. I'll have to chase them AGAIN!

Can you post the code that deals with the form data?

Maybe the error is there.

All working now, host admitted f**k up at their end (at last).
