Apache 2.0.43 (Linux) & PHP 4.2.3

When configuring PHP, I get a warning that Apache 2.0 support is experimental, and not to be used in a production envinronment. Would anyone like to expand on this? Has anyone had any problems with PHP & Apache 2.0.43?

We're moving our webservers from IIS to Apache 2.0.43, and DO NOT want to use Apache 1.3.27.

Yeah PHP doesn't work with Apache 2.0.43 as a module. No matter what they say in the bug reports at php.net the CVS doesn't help at least not as of Oct. 8

I've got it working fine (so far) as a DSO. Now trying to get PDFlib to work. I've gotten phpinfo to show that pdflib is installed, just can't get my PDFs it to display.

Back to my original question: What issues have people had that have PHP installed on 4.0.23

I can't get some php_values from the apache config file to be read, apart from that it all seems to work.
