ive seen similar topics but i have a script that displays the downloads(files of any type) after logging in, but whats the easiest way to prevent people from hot-linking?i was thinking maybe to set the folder permissions open to a certain group, but i dont understand how to set the users to a group after logging in. thanks for any help!
What Web Server are you running.
I know that under apache you can setup some rules in your .htacces to prevent hot linking. Just search the web for it, I know the rules use the referer and Regular expressions to stop hot linking.
