Mysql Full Index Search? :(

I'm trying to implement a basic search on my company's ecommerce site using mysql's full text searching

I altered my table and get results just dandy, BUT
if I were to enter more than one word in the search it doesn't search on those two words it searches on either/or

example: search for cameras and everything with the word cameras comes up

I search for "blue cameras" and everything with the word blue OR cameras comes up, when I just wanted blue cameras 🙁

I know in mysql 4 you can do boolean searches but I have 3.23 to use.

Any thoughts on how to make that search work better?
