Creating images with PHP!

Hi all!! 😃

i have been trying to create images with PHP, with the main aim to have one of those automated signup preventor images for my site.
I have tried but I get all the common failed errors.

I assume I have to have GD installed or so I have read somewhere... however how can I set this up?

I'm using a server with FTP rather than working on the server itself so how can I set up GD or something so I can create images?

Any help or guidence would help loads bcos im not sure about any of this! apart from the PHP bits 😉

You need to get the admin of the machine to compile the gd modules into php, or install the .debs or .rpms or whatever.
