This question pertains to AIM:
I have a simple buddy profile I wrote from scratch (http://phildman14.homeip.net/aim/profile.php) and in my real profile a link to the page but if the user has a space in their screen name it comes up as error loading content. BUT using the script provided by buddyprofile.com, it works no matter how many spaces there are.
My code:
<HTML<FONT FACE="OCR A Extended" SIZE=3><A HREF="http://phildman14.homeip.net/aim/profile.php?sn=%n" TARGET="_self">[VIEW PROFILE]<A></FONT>
Their code:
<HTML><FONT FACE="Webdings" LANG="143" SIZE=4>4</FONT><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE=4><A HREF="http://www.buddyprofile.com/viewprofile.php?username=phildman14&u=%n" TARGET="_self"><B>View My BuddyProfile</B></A></FONT>
%n is AIM's way to insert the user's screen name. So as you can see there almost identical but mine dosent work and theirs does. Does anyone know why? Thanks!
