Problem filling form

Hi to all.
I've a problem filling a forma after a mysql query.

I need to to this
$txt="Welcome to my website";
<input type="text" name="title" maxlength="50" size="50" value=<? echo $txt; ?>>

In the field should appear Welcome to my website, but I can see only the word Welcome.

What should I do?

You forgot quotemarks in the value.

<input type="text" name="title" maxlength="50" size="50" value="<? echo $txt; ?>">
