how to load extension?

I wanna use GD library but i can not dynamically load the extension.

I'm writing

extension=php_gd.dll

the module name and the extensions location are correct
but it doesnt work. i cant understand why? Please help me!

Whats the error that comes up (Im assuming you get an error)?

Also, have you used the .exe installer, or the .zip binary version? If you have used the .exe version, then DON'T!!! Go back to the PHP website and download the binaries version. It may take that little bit longer to install, but once you've done this, you'll find that it's much better.
