Mail ( ) SMTP Identification

Does anyone know if there's a way to send login information (SASL idenfication) to the mail server (postfix) using the 5th parm of the Mail () function ?
Any idea ? 😃

according to the mail() function entry on the PHP Manual it would appear that the 5th parameter is for passing command line switches to sendmail (unix). There appears to me no mention of sending SASL identification.
