Products & Categories......

Hi all:

I have two tables:

Categories: (CatID, CatName)
Products (ProductID, ProductName, ProductPrice, CatID)

Everything is working fine as long as each product only belongs to one category.
However as of late we're getting more and more products which belong to more than one category.
This is giving me a couple of problems:
I have to insert each product seperately per category.
In my list-all products page, the products get listed repeatedly. I know I can stop this by using distinct, BUT on each products' description page I also indicate which category that belongs to!

I hope this all makes sense, if not I can explain further.

Any suggestions, tips, or links are greatly appreciated.

In situations like this, I usually make a match table..a seperate table that holds just a the product id and the category id. This will enable you to place a product in as many categories as you wish....
