Hey, Im really as MySQL newbee, and I was looking for a way that I and others could easly upload files to my site, and have them be displayed on a page with a discription and so they could be downloaded. Any help is greatly appriciated.
You may try looking at a BLOB filed type, I believe this stores the data in binary.....
