Hello everyone I am having trouble pulling a timestamp from my database and makeing it look readable. The vairable I am useing is $post_date and I need it to look like: Wednesday, October 4th 2002 Currently it looks like: 20021010234150 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A single call to sscanf() with a format of %4d%2d%2d%2d%2d%2d so that it returns a list of year, month, day, hour, minute and second. use mktime() to turn those into a timestamp, which can then be reformatted to taste with date().
