doubt in html forms

Hi,

if we enter some text in textarea of the HTML form and we give new line characters. then will this form variable contain new line characters that we give or is it changed to a single space characters.

I know this same question was asked after puting the data in to a MySQL databse, you might do a search.

You could always test this by submiting a form on one page and then putting the data from $POST back into a text box, or look at the source of the page if you echo $POST
