Carrige Returns being Passed by a Form

I'm entering Text into a Multi Line Text Box in an HTML form.

In the text box I can leave Lines between my Text using the Return Key. However when I click submit and pass the data onto my php script the carrige Returns are removed.

Is there anyway that I can get these to be passed along with the rest of my text.

I'm trying to code a simple Guest Book and I want the Guests to be able to space there text out usinf the return key.

Can anyone help

What you need to do is replace \n or \r that the multiline box records returns as with <br /> tags.

Pretty simple thing to do.
