I just installed/configured Apache 1.3.27/PHP 4.2.3 this weekend so that I could switch my site to using the transparent SID feature. Good news: when I access the site from any of the home computers on my network, it works just fine (i.e., no PHPSESSID=1873408912374901283741238 strings in the URLs of the links). However, I just tried to access my site from work, and it is still doing the PHPSESSID thing. Is there a reason why it would work in such a fashion? Is it something to do with the session cookie on my work machine? Am I completely off base?
