apache 2043 httpd.conf problem

hey guys, i want apache to pick up my .html files from /var/www/html like from the older apache

so in the conf file i changed the Document root to

/var/www/html

i do a restart and it doesnt work, it just grabs the files from the old directory, even though it was deleted

Not trying to be a wise guy, but are you sure the page you are viewing is not stored in your local browser's cache ?

no i did a few reloads nada, i did a few apachectl restarts and nada so i did a reboot of my linux box and it was working, thats wierd, probably a bug, owell
