not reciving e-mails sent w/ mail funtion

mail is returning TRUE and I'm not reciving the e-mail.. what are possible explinations for this? I've never got it to work on this server :o/

It seems that php isn't configured to work with mailer. I believe that mail() returns false only if mailer is available, but message was not sent, and returns TRUe if mailer isn't available.
Check phpinfo() for sendmail_path or contact server admin.
