Help with displaying the array...

My apologies in advance if I over looked something in the manuals. Could some one point me in the right direction on how to display the output for the following:

function date_diff($date1, $date2) {
$s = ($date2 - $date1);
$d = intval($s/86400);
$s -= $d86400;
$h = intval($s/3600);
$s -= $h3600;
$m = intval($s/60);
$s -= $m*60;
return array("d"=>$d,"h"=>$h,"m"=>$m,"s"=>$s);
}

What is the format of $date1 and $date 2? Should take a look at the get_date function.

If you just want to see if the array was assembled correctly and you don't need to format the contents you can use the print_r() function.

Morphy could you explain your second line to me, I don't want to push the "I believe" button and walk away. I don't understand what you did here:

foreach($a as $k => $v) ;

it runs from the beginning to the end of the array returning the key in the $k var and its value in the $v var

another way if

foreach($a as $v) ;

that returns only the value in the $v var
