Help please!!!!!!

How to design a search engine using only text file and php codes? I mean i only want the php to refer to the text file ...for the search engine in a particular webpage..i do not wan to link it to any database like sql. Can that be done?
May i know how do i go about writing the source code? I am really clueless

anything is possible. Consider what you want, how it should work, do some design

BUT FIRST

check out some of the tutorials on forms, writing text files, data structures (text files are primitive tables) and learn some stuff and it will all be easier. If you don't want to use a class or script from places like hotscripts or phpClasses.org you will have to come to grips with quite a bit of php.
