data between two databases

I have a question regarding the copying of data between two databases on the one ms sql server. Basically I want to set up a trigger that calls a stored procedure that will copy the same data that is getting interted to the one database (a) and puts it into database b.

What is the sql for doing this? Has anyone done this before? If you could get back to me, that would be FAB!!!!!

Don't know for sure about SQL server but most other databases I have used allow you to prefix the table name with the database name and so allow multiple databases to be used. you just have to make sure that the user running the SQL has the required authority for both databases.
