imap install? on phptriad 2.2

i have phptriad 2.2 on my win2000
but i cant send mail
is imap included in this package
i enabled the imap.dll on my php.ini
but still nothing
i even downloaded imap & attempted to install it ..god

If you want to send mail from imap, you need an imap server installed. Why not just configure php.ini to use the mail() function instead?

maybe you could give me a tip on how to configure php.ini to use the mail() function..

I don't have a php.ini in front of me right now, can you give me a little bit?

Okay. What I did was put my smtp server in where iit asks for SMTP = in php.ini. You may want to find an SMTP server and install it on your computer. Not the answer your were looking for, I know but it's all I can do. 🙁

i have
smtp = localhost

now i have a server called mercurymail

im still not sure what to write in place of localhost

mercury has a send directory D:f\mercury\Mercury\SENDABLE

so maybe

smtp = D:f\mercury\Mercury\SENDABLE

how does your smpt line read exactly?

Well, since this isn't my dev server, all I did was put mail.domain.com and that worked for me. Yours, I would put
smtp = D:\f\mercury\Mercury\SENDABLE and that should work.
