hey all. ive got a problem. i was trying to get some php script to work that required zend optimizer. so i installed it, and it worked for awhile. but then i needed to get cgi php so i could run php script from the shell. anyway, so i got php 4.2.3 and i eventually got it to install. then i reinstalled zend optimizer to work with the new version of php (i had 4.0.6 before). so now the problem is that the web site php scripts that i have dont work. and mysql doesnt work with php either.
oh i tried to do configure with the --with-mysql= option but it wouldnt take it. it kept getting some error about not being able to find the headers. so eventually i just did configure with no options and it didnt have a problem.
if anybody can make any sence of this, please honor me with your infanite wizdom 🙂
