mysql problem

Hi there
I have a problem with mysql.

I have 2 computers connected to eachother.
On one of them I can't connect to mysql.
on both I have installed IIS 5.0, PHP 4.2.3, and the latest mysql.

This error number appears: 10061 in a sentence where it tells me that it cannot connect to mysqlserver.

Is there a problem in having connection between the two computers. Could it make a conflict with the mysqlserver.

I am NOT working across the computers when working with mysql.

Do I make sense 😕

first: use "ping" command to maker sure you really connect the two computers;
second: make sure you use a correct username and password to connect the server;

after those,if you still cannot get what you want,I suggest you reinstall mysql or you have problems with the configuration.
