Or let me ask it in other words.
When you deal with multilingual web pages or portals - do you read always the translation data files (txt or xml) and/or do you always query the db on the fly - with every new request to the page? Even though you know the result will be the same (the trnslations do not change so often).
Or do you try to keep some of this data in memory? If so - then how? Or do you use some sort pf cache in such situation? How do you do multilingual web pages? I mean - we cannot write the translations into php file. We have to read it from somewhere else - like txt, xml or swl?
