PHP problems with IIS5

Hello all.
I have Windows 2000 Advanced Server, and IIS5 installed.
I downloaded PHP, but the installer version.

It said on the online docs that the PHP installer takes care of everything and the IIS configuration as well.

Things didn't work well, so I downloaded the .zip.
And went through the installation process, however PHP still doesn't work.

I keep getting these HTTP Header errors at first, and now it seems that PHP doesn't work at all.

I need to get this working ASAP, is there anyone that can help me?

As for PHP not working in the server configuration file did you specify the directiory that you have php ziped into because that is where the parser is.

Hmmm, I dont' know.

I gave the php forlder IUSR_ComputerName Security Rights.
And it's the installer that put the folder there, so It must have configured it.. No?

Not sure I have apache set up on my comp and there is a line that says where to parse to it is this

ScriptAlias /php4/ "C:/php4/"

and

Action application/x-httpd-php /php4/php.exe

The action is very important. b/c php.exe is the parser.

Nope, tried it, didn't work.

You might want to try switching to an Apache server 🙂

Well... Actually I am coming FROM an Apache Server.
I don't like Apache. I don't like the fact that there is no centralized place for information and stuff, apache.org sucks.

I am not for Open Source.....

Well see I told you everything I know about IIS5 I don't use it and alot of people are having problems with it and php. So I don't know what to do 🙁

What do you mean by "no centralized place for information and stuff"? I've never had any problems getting information about apache. Especially from a certain PHP forum...

LOL I love apache it is awsome and is my only option b/c I have XP Home but if I had XP Pro I would still use apache 🙂

Apache and open source are our friends, embrace them and get over it. Oh yeah and if you don't like open source what are you doing with php?
