User Authentication and Functions.

Well, I'm back to my ignorant state.

Here is what I need this time.

I'm writing a script that manipulates data from about four different tables... I was told functions can be used to have this all on one script. Anyone like to shed light on how I can put links on a page that would bring up a smaller script?

Also, I am trying to have a login script that will set a cookie with information from one table, but by using the INPUT TEXT HTML tags instead of the popup box... Can Anyone tell me how to do those things?

you can do this to link to another script

or you can do the

include()
function

Obviously you didn't get it... I'm trying to create a script that brings up one page displaying info... there are links to edit the information that will take you to a form where you can modify the information... I am wondering how I would create that one script.
