A client of mine has requested an ecom shopping cart expansion to their website. I would really like to do this with PHP and mySQL. Can folks recommend a good ecom set of scripts for a small business? Would I need to buy an ecommerce package or can I get a reasonable one for free? I am probably going to need to modify it some but I don't want something too complicated as this will be my first ecom project, but not my first PHP/SQL project. I will need to provide a SSL secured payment option. Any recommendations?
