Really Simple just can't think of it

Its been a while since I have done php and I can't think of what to do.

Wewll I modifed that a little to work with my code and it did not work it does not give me an error there it gives me one 2 lines down now.

The stuff in orange is givin g em an eroor now which it should not

It was nearly correct. I think rebelo has mistakenly used the comparrison operator (==) rather than the assignment operator (=).

The code should read:

<?php

if($handle == "")
{
 $handle = "n/a";
}

<?

NB: the single "equals" symbol inside the conditional if statement.

Thanks much but I am still getting the error on line 35. When I take it out it works.

I took out my else and it want through but it didn't turn $Handle into n/a with ether code

I got it you guys were right it was where I was putting my code at.

It looked to me like he wanted to check if $handle was set, and if it was not, to set it to 'n/a'. If you think about it that would be a logical assumption. I believe my code below is correct, but it looked like his elseif was obviously out of place because i could not see what was before it...
