Combining two variables...

Hi,

I'm in some desperate need of help here. I want to know how to be able to combine two different variables into one variable.

For example, I have the variable $number_id3 submitted from a form. When I process this form I need to be able to display the value of that variable with something like $number_id$id, except all as one variable.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

u can do this:

$new_var_name = $number_id . $id ;

vars shud not be surrounded by ' ' even if they are text....

u only need to have '' round something if you wish to add some set text to the new var... e.g.

$new_var = 'MySite' . $pwd ;

You can use variable variables (described in the documentation) or you can learn how to use arrays and do it right...
