Now then. I have a feeling this will be easy,

i have say a number like... 0.70 and a quantity of 1 so the code below goes 1 * 0.70 but comes out as 0.7

I am trying to make this look like currency, so i dont need this to ignore the 0 at the end.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please, as easy as it may or may not be.

Ok the problem has been solved with

$result = bcmul($qty,$price,2);
$total = bcadd($total,$result,2);

...or just use number_format()

echo number_format( $total+($qty*$price),2);

I don't believe your example really requires the bcmath functionality.

sprintf() is another option. Regarding number_format(), be sure to use the optional parameters to use . instead of , as the seperator. Something like:

 $total =  number_format($qty*$price, 2, '.', '');
