Removing Microsoft Internet Explorer

Does anyone know how to remove the Microsoft Internet Explorer from the browser window?

It's set in the registry, so you can change it with regedit, I did it a while ago but I don't remember whereabouts it is exactly.

I just wanted to know if its possible really, if u change it on ur own registry will it still appear on othr ppls computers ?

yeah it will still show on other peoples computers, since it's stored in their registry. AFAIK there's no way to remove it except by editing the registry

the registry entry is here.... (click start>run and type 'regedit')

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]

you want the entry 'window title', if there isn't one there (I don't think ie6+ has it) then create one and enter whatever you want it to say as the value. Make sure you know what ur doing before editing the registry, and don't blame me if it breaks windows 🙂
