Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource

i have installed php 5.5 and i have setup the database in myphpadmin and imported it and chmod 666 the config.php
and edited the config dbhost localhost and my db pass and unsername and dbtype MySQL and get this error> Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource < i just don't know what wlse to do i've played around with it and it appears everything is configured right, could someone please tell me what the probles is and how i may
fix this?

What is mysql_error returning() after the mysql_query() call?

mysql_fetch_row(): is what it is calling there is no modules ,
no links, nothing but the outline of the page full of errors,
you may view this page at home page
this you can see the exact error im getting, i hope you can help

Before you do a mysql_fetch_row() you have run the query with mysql_query(). That should return either a resource or NULL and an error that you can find by calling mysql_error(). The error has nothing to do with the fetch row.

i don't believe i understand, im not trying to do a quiery,
im tring to get this up and running, im not doing nothing but
what the installation manual states to do, im i gettting those errors after i was tring to install this, when i feel this should be already correctly working, could you just tell me where the problem lies that i might be able to correct this to get this up and running please simple explain plz

i have removed everything and re uploaded and configured and

therefore i say again im still recieving the same errors as i have before, i've done everything i know to do, and have become confused and frustrated i don't know what else to do.

i've waited patiently for 2 days and still no answer if some one can answer please do some errors are: unable to select database
but when i user the domain for local host it says the following error= access denied for myusername@myhost) using password(yes)
would someone please please help me and give me a answer why?

hows that please explain, my host said he set both databases up,
and he gave me usernames and passwords, and all info the day he said he set it up, he dumped the tabes also for me but i've recieved errors after installtion, the fetch_row, fetch_array,
MySQL_free, arguments , are detailed as unable to select database, but when i user www.mydomain.com where dbhost i
get access denied for user: myuser@mydomainipaddy ) using password yes) as far as granting permission would that be up to my provider? or can i change them i have user access?
