I have been looking at some scripts and have seen for example the following.

echo">&nbsp;&nbsp;<font color=\"white\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<b>"._FMPIUL."</b></font></td>"

I am unclear as to the syntax used to refer to " _FMPIUL".
It appears to function as a variable, but I have unable to locate any reference to using this syntax.

I would appreciate any help.
