Need dev tool for PHP, MySQL, forms ...

Hi,

I have the following installed on a server:
1. PHP
2. MySQL database
3. Apache web server

I am looking for some tool that will:
· Help me run a database driven secure (https) web site.
· Work with MySQL.
· Generate web pages that are tightly coupled with the MySQL database.
· Most of these web pages will be forms whose results will be stored in the MySQL database.
· The users of the web site need to have accounts on the web site.
· Every user needs to belong to a group.

Can you recommend any web site development tools that can help me do the above?
I need to quickly build a prototype for a demo.

I would like to avoid developing the whole thing from scratch since there are a lot of web site development tools out there.

You can check hotscripts.com for a script that already exists, or search here for code that others have posted. Neither of which are "development tools", but just a good place to start.

Personally, I haven't seen anything like what you are looking for. Which means, you need to write it yourself. May I suggest you set up a local development system (apache,PHP, mySQL, phpmyadmin and an editor) to write the script.
Doesn't sound too bad. Sounds like you know what you need.

The combination I use is a good HTML editor with PHP support (I use AceHTML) with 'MySql GUI' to test out the queries.

They're not an integrated combination but I find the work well.
