I am writing a password protected section for our fraternity, which will include a message board, main section, calendar, news, etc. that is not viewable to the public.
I already have a member database set up with a field for a password, and a username.
I already have everything written now, as far as the non-logon stuff goes. I just need to figure how I can have a page where they logon, and when they post something on the messageboard it will show their name. And as long as they are logged on they can have access to the private pages.
I dont know where to begin coding the logon scripting, can someone help me out? Does anyone recommend any sort of tutorials? Please help, I need to figure this out.
